Russia considers accepting Bitcoin for oil and gas.

Pavel Zavalny, who heads Russia's State Duma committee on energy, said on Thursday that the country has been exploring alternative ways to receive payment for energy exports. He said China and Turkey were among "friendly" countries which were "not involved in the sanctions pressure". "We have been proposing to China for a long time to switch to settlements in national currencies for roubles and yuan," said Mr Zavalny. "With Turkey, it will be lira and roubles." Mr Zavalny added: "You can also trade bitcoins."

Argentina Turns To China-Russia To End 'Dependency' on U.S.

Argentine President Alberto Fernandez was on a five-day tour to Russia and China back in February 2022. Many saw the visit as a sign of Buenos Aires moving closer to Moscow & Beijing to counterweight to Washington. Fernandez’s mission was to bring investment and strengthen political ties with two countries. During his visit to Russia, Fernandez called for an end to economic dependency on US and IMF.
